Where: One School of the Arts (1675 Dixon Rd, Longwood, FL 32779)
What: A fun week of chess and learning; 2 skill levels available!
Join us for a fun week of chess at our chess summer camp, which will be held at the One School of the Arts campus in Longwood (same location as our weekly chess program).
Campers will explore the game of chess during the week through interactive activities (both indoors and outdoors), engaging classroom lessons, playing chess with peers, and competing in a fun mini tournament with prizes.
We are offering 2 skill levels at this year’s camp: Intermediate and Advanced. All campers will be placed in the skill level that is most appropriate for them as determined by our onsite chess coaches.
Campers will play over-the-board chess each day as a group to experience a variety of player styles and to implement the concepts learned during their lessons.
What does my child need to bring? Campers only need to bring their own lunch each day. We provide all of the chess sets and training materials, as well as fresh fruit and bottled water for our scheduled break times.
50% off sibling discounts are available.
Seating is limited to 50 campers.
