Some of our winners from the 2019 Florida State Scholastic Championship (March 2-3, 2019)!

The competitive team is comprised of our Intermediate and Advanced level players who are interested in playing in local USCF rated chess competitions.

These players must be approved by our coaching staff, as they will play in local monthly USCF tournaments, represent our school chess club at the Florida State Scholastic Championship each year, and compete for their individual schools at the 2019 K-12 National Grade Championship being held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on December 13-15, 2019.

Players who sign up on the competitive team play together as one and support each other, building a better and more tight knit chess community.
