We're the Orlando Chess Academy

Our weekly chess programs are designed to create not only a fun environment but a learning environment as well: they combine engaging classroom lessons with time to play chess with peers.

Chess is everything: art, science, and sport.

Why Chess?

Chess was once taught hundreds of years ago to royalty as a way to learn war strategy. Today, in the 21st century, chess remains a game that we can learn from. Playing chess fosters and supports the development of life skills such as planning ahead, creativity, strategy, focus, pattern recognition, and more.
