OCA+OSOTA Level Up I/II Spring 2020 Chess Program Registration
The OCA+OSOTA Level Up I & II Program is open to both One School of the Arts students and to the local scholastic community. This program is for kids who want to take their chess game to the next level.
Due to COVID-19, OCA+OSOTA 2020 Spring Program has been cancelled.
Level Up I: Level Up I players are confident on the rules of chess, including check and checkmate. They will focus on learning and applying fundamental tactical patterns and basic opening principles to their games.
Level Up II: There will be higher-level instruction at this level in order to prepare students for the Advanced Plus level. Level Up II players will concentrate on further improving and applying their tactical vision.
Level Up I & II students can be promoted to the next higher level of learning based on the recommendations of our classroom coaches.
HOW TO REGISTER
Step 1: Which student option do I pick?
If your child(ren) attends One School of the Arts: select from the OSOTA options.
If your child(ren) attends a different school: select from the Community options.
Step 2: Fill in registration form
Click “Register Now” to fill in the online registration form.
Step 3: Complete checkout
Submit the registration form and complete checkout. Done!
